This was reported by the representative of the Russian Sustainable Control Committee for the Rostov region.

According to the investigation, in 2022, three police officers and two of their acquaintances entered an apartment in a building in the Voroshilovsky district of Rostov-on-Don and demanded 3 million rubles from the residents.

“The criminal case with an approved indictment has been sent to court for consideration on the merits,” RIA Novosti quotes him as saying.

Earlier, the Savyolovsky Court of Moscow arrested Valery Shcheglov, senior operational duty officer of the Internal Affairs Directorate for the Northern Administrative District of Moscow, for accepting a bribe.
