Diplomats clarified that two of the five musicians have Israeli passports, in addition to Russian ones.

“Since some of them have two passports, according to local law they can agree to go to both Russia and Israel. Whoever has only a Russian passport, then in this case there is the possibility of deportation only to Russia. There is no other option,” TASS explained.

It also clarifies that citizens cannot be deported without their consent. If they refuse to return to their homeland, a person can sit in a temporary detention center of the Royal Immigration Bureau for years.

The consular department of the Russian Embassy also reported that the Thai authorities have not yet agreed on a date for the deportation of the members of the rock band.

Previously, the court sentenced the musicians of the Bi-2 group to a fine of $85.
