China News Service, Berlin, January 30th. The "Dragon Welcomes the New Year" 2024 Year of the Dragon Spring Festival Gala for Chinese students in Berlin and Brandenburg was held on the 28th at the main building of the Technical University of Berlin. Nearly a thousand Chinese students and scholars studying in Germany gathered together to welcome the arrival of the New Year in the Year of the Dragon. Chinese Ambassador to Germany Wu Ken attended and delivered a speech.

Wu Ken said in his speech that the growing prosperity of the motherland and the continuous improvement of international influence will not only provide stronger backing for overseas students, but also create a broader stage for international students to display their talents. I hope that the students will live up to the times and their time, master their true talents and practical knowledge, and continue to achieve better selves. It is expected that international students will tell Chinese stories well with a spirit of self-confidence, openness and inclusiveness, and play a bridging role in enhancing mutual understanding and promoting friendly exchanges between the Chinese and German peoples.

That night included children's chorus "Young China Strong", folk dance "Blue", modern dance "Classmates", bel canto chorus "China in the Lights", women's group dance "Better Up", a variety of surprise folk music including playing, playing and singing, and talk shows.
