The Israeli occupation army announced that it had destroyed some of the tunnels of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) in the Gaza Strip by flooding them with water, while the resistance factions in the Strip announced that they had targeted Israeli tanks and injured many occupation soldiers.

The occupation army said, in a statement, that it used new capabilities to neutralize Hamas' underground infrastructure in the Gaza Strip by pumping huge quantities of water into the tunnels.

Al Jazeera's correspondent reported today that 11 martyrs and a number of wounded were killed in a bombing that targeted a house in the Al-Hadba area in Deir Al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.

The Red Crescent also announced the death of a woman and 9 injuries in an Israeli bombing on the vicinity of Al-Amal Hospital in the city of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.

He said that the occupation army stormed the association’s building and Al-Amal Hospital in Khan Yunis and demanded their evacuation at gunpoint and the interruption of communications. He pointed out that the occupation forces were stationed inside the courtyard of Al-Amal Hospital and were firing fire and smoke bombs at the displaced people and the association’s staff.

Also in Khan Yunis, Al Jazeera's correspondent reported the recovery of the bodies of five martyrs from one family, who were martyred in an Israeli artillery shelling that occurred 3 weeks ago.

Civil defense teams cannot rescue the injured under the rubble after the Israeli bombing, due to the difficulty of movement as the occupation forces fire on ambulances, which leads to the death of the injured and their bodies remaining under the rubble for long periods.

The Palestinian Red Crescent also documented in an audio recording the moment the Israeli occupation forces shot the child Layan Hamada (15 years old) when she was speaking on the phone with the Red Crescent crew asking for help, after the occupation opened fire on the car in which she was riding with her family in Gaza City in the central Gaza Strip.

For its part, the Civil Defense in Gaza confirmed that the occupation army blew up entire residential squares in the Tal al-Hawa neighborhood and areas west of Gaza City, and also bombed Jabalia, north of the Strip.

The Palestinian News Agency (Wafa) also reported that the bodies of 100 martyrs were buried in a mass grave in Rafah. The occupation had stolen them from various areas of the Gaza Strip and delivered them this Tuesday morning through the Kerem Shalom crossing, after stealing organs from them.

In turn, the Ministry of Health in Gaza reported that the number of victims of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip had risen to 26,751 martyrs and 65,636 injured. She added that the occupation committed 13 massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, leaving 114 martyrs and 249 injured during the past 24 hours.

Hospital siege

The occupation forces continue to siege Al-Amal Hospital and Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Yunis for the ninth day in a row. The Ministry of Health in Gaza said that the Israeli occupation is placing 150 medical personnel, 450 wounded, and 3,000 displaced people in the target area due to that siege.

The Ministry confirmed that the food allocated for the crews, the wounded, and the displaced in the Nasser Medical Complex had run out, with waste accumulating in the sections and courtyards of the complex due to the occupation’s refusal to allow it to be transported abroad.

The Ministry warned that the electrical generators at Nasser Medical Complex will stop within two days due to the lack of fuel.

Israeli losses

In contrast, the Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement, announced that it “targeted 4 Zionist tanks with RPG shells in the Al-Arayshiyah and Jourat Al-Aqqad areas, west of the city of Khan Yunis.”

The Martyr Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas movement, also announced that it had destroyed “a Zionist Merkava tank and a D9 military bulldozer near the industrial junction in central Gaza.”

Al Jazeera's correspondent reported that violent clashes took place between the Palestinian resistance and the Israeli occupation forces in the industrial zone in Gaza City.

For its part, the Israeli army announced that 26 soldiers were injured during the past 24 hours, including 7 who were injured in the battles of the Gaza Strip, and confirmed that the number of its wounded had risen to 2,797 since the beginning of the war, of whom 1,283 were injured since the start of the ground attack on October 27 last year.

The occupation army added that 378 officers and soldiers are still receiving treatment, explaining that the wounds of 35 of them are serious.

In the same context, the British newspaper "The Telegraph" quoted an official in the Israeli occupation army as saying that "the number of soldiers suffering serious injuries in the Gaza Strip is double what was in the previous conflict."

The Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth also reported that large numbers of Israeli soldiers are returning from Gaza suffering from psychological symptoms.
