This past weekend, a group of minors traveling on scooters and carrying machetes committed robberies in several streets in the Hortaleza and Barajas neighborhoods, according to sources from the Municipal Police and the National Police. The attackers have

robbed several minors, violently snatching their belongings

and mobile phones after threatening them with weapons.

The first of the reported assaults occurred on Machupichu Avenue. The scooter thieves approached two boys who were sitting on a bench looking at their mobile phones.

They surrounded them and took two devices.

Shortly after, they continued along this road until arriving, at around 8:30 p.m., on Avenida de los Andes. There, at number 10, three minors and an adult were assaulted. On this occasion they also surrounded their victims and

threatened everyone present with machetes

that they had hidden in the bottom of the scooter.

Likewise, they took money, a piece of clothing and their cell phones. Here, in this robbery, the situation was much worse since one of the minors ran after the criminals, eventually being hit by a bus from the Municipal Transport Company of the Madrid City Council.

The minor was slightly injured with a blow to the head,

according to Madrid Emergency sources. He walked around the scene with ice on his head.

This robbery generated great commotion and concern in the area: "They went after minor boys and took money and cell phones from them,

Shortly after, the authorities received new notices from people who had seen the suspects
