Recently, the Shenzhen Meteorological Bureau held the "2023 Shenzhen Climate Bulletin" (hereinafter referred to as the "Bulletin") and the 2024 Spring Festival Climate Trend Forecast online and offline press conference to announce the climate characteristics of 2023 and eight major climate events, as well as the weather conditions in Shenzhen during the Spring Festival in 2024.

  The "Bulletin" shows that Shenzhen's average temperature in 2023 is 23.9°C, 0.6°C higher than normal, and tied for the second highest in history. A total of 7 days with high temperatures were recorded, 2.6 days more than normal. High temperatures concentrated in May and July. For the first time since 1978, no haze days were recorded. The relevant person in charge of the Shenzhen Meteorological Bureau said that the daily decrease in haze reflects the improvement of Shenzhen’s atmospheric environment quality.
