On average 520 days of waiting to see your request accepted

Obviously, it is in the Ile-de-France region as well as in the Mediterranean and Atlantic arc that the attributions are the lowest. But the National Social Housing Control Agency still notes a positive point for 2022, allocations have increased in tense areas such as Paris and its immediate suburbs with 31,000 housing units, a number which had not been reached since 2017 Also, that for so-called “Dalo” (enforceable right to housing) households which have priority has exceeded 24,000, a record!

However, waiting times to see your application for social housing accepted are constantly increasing, 520 days on average (i.e. 16 days more compared to 2021), up to 721 days (+14 days) for other households whose request was still active as of December 31, 2022. On the other hand, for single-parent families, it is less than 500 days. Latest lesson, the unemployed represent the category of households most strongly affected by the reduction in allocations, -20% unlike State agents, +28%!
