He said this during a meeting of BRICS sherpas and sous-sherpas within the framework of Russia's chairmanship. His words are quoted by TASS.

He recalled that in January of this year, five new states became full members of the association. In particular, we are talking about Egypt, Ethiopia, Iran, the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

Ryabkov noted that the BRICS countries will benefit from this important step, which can be called a turning point.

He noted that a just world order will better reflect the real state of affairs, and will also allow the developing world to express itself more strongly.

Earlier, Ryabkov announced a meeting of the heads of BRICS diplomatic departments in June in Nizhny Novgorod.
