At the same time, the president emphasized that Ecuador does not intend to sever relations with Russia.
Earlier, the Russian Embassy in Ecuador stated that the transfer of Russian equipment to the United States would be an unfriendly step.
The Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation (FSMTC) of Russia emphasized that the transfer of military equipment by Ecuador from Russia to a third party could negatively affect Russian-Ecuadorian relations.
