As TASS reports with reference to the press service of the transport department of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Central Federal District, teenagers set fire to a relay cabinet between the Mark and Novodachnaya railway stations. They committed the crime for a monetary reward promised to them.

“Transport police who arrived at the scene of the incident, while inspecting the damaged device and the surrounding area, found an empty bottle with the remains of a fuel and lubricant, which the attackers allegedly used to commit arson,” the department said.

A criminal case has been initiated into the crime.

“As a result of operational search activities, the identities of two suspects were established and they were detained at their places of residence in Dolgoprudny near Moscow. They turned out to be 17-year-old teenagers,” the Ministry of Internal Affairs noted.

Earlier, the Supreme Court of Crimea sentenced a local resident to 12 years in prison for preparing an explosion at a life support facility.
