It is clarified that the woman in the car, who was the driver’s wife and the girl’s mother, managed to leave the vehicle.
“Around 6 p.m., a gas cylinder caught fire in the car. As a result of the instant spread of the flames, the man and girl died on the spot. The 44-year-old woman managed to get out and was taken to Kaluga hospital in serious condition,” the statement says.
According to preliminary data, the cylinder that caught fire contained liquefied gas.
Earlier it was reported that five people were killed and four more were injured in a massive road accident near Orenburg.
