This was reported by the press service of the Main Military Prosecutor's Office of Russia.

“The court... sentenced Mozgovoy to 18 years in prison to be served in a maximum security correctional colony,” the department said.

It is noted that in April 2022, Mozgovoy, while in the basement of one of the residential buildings in Mariupol, held two civilians at gunpoint.

One of them, deprived of the opportunity to receive qualified medical care, died.

On January 17, Azov militant Alexei Mozgovoy, who shot four Mariupol residents, was sentenced to life imprisonment in the DPR.
