A previous Israeli raid on southern Lebanon (Anatolia)

On Tuesday, Lebanese Hezbollah announced that it had targeted a gathering of Israeli soldiers off Lebanon's southern border, while Israel continued to bomb several border areas.

The party said, in a statement, that its members targeted a gathering of Israeli soldiers in the vicinity of the Hadab Yarin site (off the town of Yarin) with missile weapons, and directly hit it, without further details.

Hezbollah had previously said that it had targeted Israeli spy equipment opposite the southern village of Wazzani, confirming that it had directly hit it.

For its part, the official Lebanese News Agency reported that the outskirts of the town of Labouneh in the Naqoura region were exposed to Israeli artillery shelling, while the Israeli army fired heavy machine guns from its positions in Birkat Risha towards the outskirts of the town of Aita al-Shaab in southern Lebanon.

Occupation Army Radio reported that Israeli artillery bombed sites in southern Lebanon, from which 3 shells were fired at Western Galilee, two of which fell near the Arab Aramsha area, while the last fell in an open area.

Throughout last night and until Tuesday morning, Israeli reconnaissance aircraft flew over the villages of the western and central sectors, reaching the outskirts of the city of Tyre, coinciding with the firing of flares over the border villages adjacent to the Blue Line, according to the Lebanese News Agency.

Gallant threats

Yesterday, Monday, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant announced that his army “will move very soon” north of Israel on the border with Lebanon, and informed soldiers stationed near the border with Gaza that other forces currently deployed in the Strip will leave the area in northern Israel.

Addressing the soldiers, Gallant said, "The forces near you... will leave the field and head toward the north, in preparation for what will happen next," and indicated that the reserve soldiers will leave their positions in preparation for these future operations.

In the wake of a devastating war against the Gaza Strip, since October 8, 2023, the border between the two sides has witnessed tension and intermittent exchange of fire between the Israeli army on the one hand, and Hezbollah on the other, which led to deaths and injuries on both sides of the border.

Since October 7, 2023, the Israeli army has launched a fierce aggression against Gaza that, as of Tuesday, left 26,751 martyrs and 65,636 injured, most of them children and women. The aggression also caused massive destruction and an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe.
