According to Nehammer, the times when there were good relations between Russia and Austria are over. Now, he emphasized, there was tension in them.
“However, we must try to find ways of interaction and mutual understanding with Russia. Always understanding that Russia will be, how can I put it, an exceptional negotiating partner,” he said.
Earlier, Russian Ambassador to Austria Dmitry Lyubinsky said that aggressive publications by Austrian media against Russia are aimed at worsening already difficult relations between the two countries.
