Hind, a Palestinian girl, was surrounded by occupation tanks in Gaza (social networking sites)

Hind, “They are sitting there beating us up...help us.” A chilling audio recording of a girl taking her last breath from occupation bullets while calling for help in Gaza.

The story began - yesterday, Monday - in southern Gaza, when Bashar Hamada rode his car with his family, consisting of his wife and 5 children. Near the Fares Petrol Station in the Tal Al-Hawa area, the occupation forces targeted his car, martyring his family, except for two girls, Lian, 15 years old, and her relative, Hind, 6 years old.

At the sound of bullets, Layan, who was injured and surrounded by Israeli occupation tanks, called her uncle, who contacted the Red Crescent, but the Israeli occupation bullets did not give her time, so she was martyred, leaving Hind alone surrounded by the bodies of her family.

⏺️ Audio recording of the moment the child Layan Hamada, 15 years old, was shot while she was talking on the phone with the Palestinian Red Crescent crew asking for help. Layan was martyred and Hind, 6 years old, remained trapped inside the vehicle surrounded by occupation tanks and soldiers.

The Palestinian Red Crescent published a recording of Layan’s appeal through its account on the

Al-Hilal added that its crews are communicating with the child to calm her down, especially since the family was shot while calling the ambulance and emergency service to request help, while ambulances are still unable to reach the place, which the occupation considers a closed military zone, and targets anyone who tries to move in the area.

The Red Crescent returned and published an update to the story, saying that one of its crews went to rescue Hind yesterday evening, but he has not returned yet, as he lost contact with them about 18 hours ago, and their fate is still unknown.

As the recording spread on social media platforms, a state of shock and sympathy began for the family, and a campaign to search and ask about the fate of the child Hind also began.

A Gaza Palestinian family wanted to escape from the hell of the Zionist bombing, so their car intercepted an enemy tank and rained bullets on it. Those in it were martyred except for two girls, Layan, 15 years old, and Hind, 6 years old. Layan called the Civil Defense, but the enemy did not give her time, so she was martyred, and the child Hind contacted them, then the call was lost. #Gaza 👇

Bloggers said that they could not imagine how this child was able to hold the phone and ask for help in the midst of all this blood and death, adding that those of Gaza’s children who survived physically will not survive psychologically!

Yesterday, when I heard this recording, and her voice calling, “Help us,” I cried my heart out. I cannot imagine how this little girl grabbed the phone and asked for help in the midst of all this blood and death. How she carried her little heart and did not die in fear and terror of what she saw!

How will the children survive all this death and its consequences? Whoever survives physically will not survive psychologically!

Some observers commented that this crime is in addition to the endless crimes of the occupation and the silence and complicity of the international community. Others hoped that a miracle would occur that would reveal the fate of the child along with the medical staff who went out to search for her and did not return.

Red Crescent spokesman Raed Al-Nims told Al Jazeera Net, “Communication was completely cut off with the ambulance carrying two paramedics, and we do not know anything about their fate or the fate of Layan and Hind, and there has been no communication since six o’clock on Monday evening.”

Omar believes that Layan was most likely killed after her last call, and says, “After that, the Red Crescent and I contacted Hind, and she told me that blood was covering Layan’s face.”
