“In the ski tourism segment, demand goes to Krasnaya Polyana (Sochi), Sheregesh (Kemerovo region), Dombay (Karachaevo-Cherkessia), Arkhyz (Karachaevo-Cherkessia) and other resorts of the Elbrus region of different levels,” the association noted.

The leaders among foreign destinations, as noted, remain Egypt, Thailand, the UAE, Cuba and Sri Lanka. Exotic countries such as Thailand are also in demand among tourists.

“Thailand has taken another step in favor of attracting Russian tourists - this is 90 days of visa-free stay on its territory. This is a very serious matter for a Russian tourist to vacation in Thailand for a sufficiently long period,” the press service clarified.

Belarus, Abkhazia, Kazakhstan, and Armenia are also in demand.
