RT's interlocutor supported the initiative and declared his readiness to assist as chairman of the Union of Pensioners of Russia.

“The fact is that the national project “Demography” is also aiming us towards this, which has a part dedicated to the older generation. Scientists have long ago determined how the continuation of active educational work and the continuation of the load of the intellect affects the life expectancy of older people. Therefore, I sincerely support this initiative. Of course, budget resources will be needed. But I don’t think that they will be so infinitely large that they will not agree with this initiative,” says Ryazansky.

Earlier, Deputy of the Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg Pavel Krupnik proposed considering the possibility of including Russian pensioners in the Pushkin Card project or creating a similar program for them.
