The department does not specify what exactly it means, but the message appeared after Ukrainian journalists and deputies announced Zaluzhny’s dismissal.
“Dear journalists, we immediately answer everyone: No, this is not true,” the message says.
Former Verkhovna Rada deputy Borislav Bereza previously stated that the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine had been removed from his post. He did not provide official confirmation. The same information was provided by Ukrainian deputy Alexey Goncharenko*: he claims that Zaluzhny was announced about his resignation, but there is no decree on his dismissal yet.
