A mother bathes her child in a displacement camp in Rafah (French)

The voices of the people in Gaza rose loudly to express their suffering from the problem of the lack of diapers and milk for their children. Many families are unable to provide the basics for infants, which poses a great danger to their lives and health, due to the continued Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip for 115 days, and the lack of aid entering Gaza through Crossing road.

Where can I find Karam diapers in Rafah, size 5 or 4, but they won't cost 170 shekels?

Some parents resort to social media platforms to search for their children’s need for diapers.

This citizen writes a blog post asking that “someone direct them to a site where he can find a few diapers for his child in Rafah, after failed search attempts, and if he finds them, he will find them at ridiculous prices.”

I bought a dragon today and a carton of milk

and gave him $100!!

You can imagine their cost of 60 shekels was less than 20 dollars

I was going to give you a massage, but I looked for my niece before

you. It's a hellish price, even though you're starting to learn it on Nono😅

Some families confirmed that their children suffered from infections and diseases as a result of the lack of diapers, and others say that the humanitarian aid entering the Gaza Strip does not meet their basic needs, especially the needs of children.

Don't be surprised when we buy 32-piece diapers for $70, meaning 240 shekels.

“Today, only 5 commercial trucks entered the Gaza Strip, and no aid trucks entered today.”

Since the seventh of last October, the children of Gaza have been suffering from the scourge of war and death, in addition to the lack of their most basic rights, such as milk and diapers.

The Gaza Strip suffers from a severe food shortage, and children's needs are missing from pharmacies and markets.

As for resorting to alternatives, it has its problems. Alternative infant formula causes health problems that exacerbate the situation, and cloth alternatives to diapers are ineffective and cause diseases.

Epidemic diseases are spreading among children in the Gaza Strip, due to the ongoing Israeli aggression and the resulting lack of medicine, food and water.

The Ministry of Health in Gaza describes the health situation in the Strip as “disastrous and extremely painful.”

About 2.3 million Palestinians live in Gaza, suffering from extremely deteriorating living conditions, as a result of the Israeli aggression that left more than 26,000 martyrs, most of them children and women, massive destruction of infrastructure and an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe.
