The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Observatory, quoting an Israeli newspaper, said that the bombs dropped by the Israeli army on the Gaza Strip in 4 months exceed those used by Russia in its war on Ukraine over two years.

Observatory director Rami Abdo published a tweet - on his page on the X website - in which he quoted the Israeli newspaper "Kol Ha'ir" that estimates indicate that the quantity of bombs used by the Israeli army in Gaza exceeds those used by former German leader Adolf Hitler during World War II.

According to its website, the Euro-Mediterranean Observatory is an independent, non-profit organization, with approximately 70% of its employees and volunteers being victims of human rights violations.

The Observatory is concerned with defending human rights in Europe and the Middle East and North Africa region, and supports victims of armed conflicts and occupation, as well as displaced persons, refugees and asylum seekers resulting from conflicts and violations, especially vulnerable groups such as women and children.

The Israeli occupation army has been waging a devastating war on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, which led to the death of more than 26,000 and the injury of nearly 65,000 others.
