“Of the less than 100 Leopard-2s in Ukrainian service, at least 26 were shot down, others cannot be used due to problems with repair and maintenance,” the publication notes.

It is clarified that the effectiveness of Leopard-2 in combat is focused on coordination between infantry, artillery and engineering troops, and also depends on the availability of supporting infrastructure.

“Ukraine was unable to provide this in 2023,” the publication stated.
