The British royal family announced on the 29th that King Charles, who had been hospitalized for treatment for an enlarged prostate, and Prince William's wife, Duchess Kate, who had been hospitalized after undergoing abdominal surgery, were both discharged from the hospital. The postoperative course is said to be good.

King Charles, 75, had been hospitalized in a London hospital since the 26th of this month for treatment for an enlarged prostate, but was discharged from the hospital on the 29th.

King Charles left the hospital alongside Queen Camilla, waved to waiting members of the public and press, and occasionally flashed a smile as he entered his car with steady steps.

He will be reconsidering his official schedule in order to rest for a while.

According to the British Royal Family, a few hours earlier, Prince William's wife, Duchess Kate, 42, was also discharged from the same hospital and returned to her home in Windsor, near London.

Duchess Kate underwent surgery on her abdomen on the 16th of this month, but other than the fact that she does not have cancer, the details of her symptoms have not been disclosed, sparking great interest from the public.

Although she did not appear on this day, she is said to be doing well after the surgery, and is expected to return to public duties after April.

Her husband, Prince William, is also reportedly cutting back on her official duties to prioritize time with her family.
