Syria recently witnessed attacks on bases where the American army is deployed (Al Jazeera)

The Politico website quoted an American official as saying that they had received initial reports showing that the American Al-Shaddadi base in northeastern Syria was attacked on Monday morning.

This comes at a time when the Islamic Resistance in Iraq announced that it had targeted with missiles the American base in the city of Al-Shaddadi in the countryside of Al-Hasakah Governorate, northeastern Syria.

This is the second targeting by the Islamic Resistance in Iraq of Al-Shaddadi base within 24 hours, and it is not known whether the attack resulted in human losses or not.

Since the beginning of this year, the bases where American forces are deployed in Syria have been subjected to numerous missile attacks and unidentified suicide drones.

Syria recently witnessed attacks on bases where the US army is deployed in the north and northeast of the country, including the Al-Tanf area and the Al-Malikiyah district, the two borders with Iraq, and in Al-Hasakah Governorate and the Al-Shaddadi area, with unidentified drones and surface-to-surface missiles.

It should be noted that Iranian-backed armed groups are launching missile attacks and armed marches on American bases east of the Euphrates River, which are under the control of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).
