Occupation bulldozers vandalized and bulldozed streets in Jenin (French)

Five Palestinians were killed by Israeli occupation army bullets in Jenin, Hebron, and Bethlehem in the West Bank, and the occupation forces continued their arrests, bringing the number of detainees since last October to more than 6,300.

The Palestinian News Agency reported that the child Rani Yasser Khalaf Al-Shaer (16 years old) died as a result of being hit by live bullets during the confrontations that broke out in the Khirbet Al-Deir area in the town of Taqam near Bethlehem. Al Jazeera's correspondent quoted eyewitnesses that the occupation forces executed the young man under the pretext of attempting to carry out a stabbing attack.

Israeli Army Radio reported that the soldiers wounded the boy, and said that none of the soldiers present at the scene were injured.

Hebron and Jenin developed

The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced the death of two young men after being hit in the chest by live occupation bullets, during confrontations that broke out between young men and the occupation forces after they stormed the town of Dura, south of Hebron.

The occupation forces raided the home of those released to Gaza in the loyalty deal for the freed brothers Anis and Akram Al-Nammoura in Dura, searched their family home and conducted a field investigation with them.

On the other hand, the Palestinian Red Crescent announced the martyrdom of a Palestinian by bullets fired by the occupation forces in the town of Silwad, east of Ramallah.

In Jenin, Al Jazeera's correspondent said that the young man, Thaer Naeem, was martyred while Palestinians confronted Israeli forces that stormed the town of Al-Yamoun, west of the city.

The occupation forces withdrew from the city after storming for approximately three hours, during which they arrested two young men. It also raided the homes of two freed prisoners and conducted a field investigation with their families.

Palestinian platforms broadcast scenes showing Israeli military bulldozers demolishing and sabotaging infrastructure in the streets of Jenin. The pictures also show the deployment of military reinforcements of occupation vehicles in several neighborhoods of the city and Jenin camp.

Armed clashes also broke out between resistance fighters and the occupation forces after they stormed the town of Qabatiya, south of Jenin.

This brings to 58 the number of Palestinian martyrs since the beginning of this year in the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem, and since the beginning of the Israeli war on Gaza, to 377 martyrs.

Dozens of detainees

On the other hand, the number of Palestinian detainees from the West Bank has risen to 6,370 since the beginning of the Israeli aggression, after the Israeli army arrested 40 Palestinians on Monday, according to a joint statement issued by the Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners’ Affairs Authority and the Palestinian Prisoners’ Club.

The two institutions said that the total number of arrests includes those who were detained by the occupation and those who were later released.

In its annual report, prisoner affairs institutions indicated that the total number of Palestinians detained in Israeli prisons until the end of December 2023 amounted to about 8,800, including more than 80 female prisoners.

Since the start of its devastating war on the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, the Israeli army has intensified its operations in the West Bank and expanded its incursions and raids into Palestinian cities, villages and camps, which resulted in the arrest and injury of thousands and the martyrdom of hundreds.
