Prime Minister Shmyhal of Ukraine, where Russia's military invasion continues, revealed that he is negotiating with about 30 countries to conclude security agreements and other measures to ensure the long-term security of Ukraine.

In Ukraine, from the 13th to the 14th, there was a series of attacks by Russian forces, and according to the governor of the eastern Kharkiv region, more than 15 villages in the province were attacked by mortars.

As Russia's military invasion continues, Ukrainian Prime Minister Shmyhal announced on a local TV program on the 13th that he is negotiating with about 7 countries, including the G7 = seven major countries, to conclude a security agreement in order to ensure the long-term security of Ukraine.

In July last year, the G30 issued a joint declaration stating that it would provide long-term assistance to deter future Russian aggression against Ukraine.

Based on this, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak met with President Zelensky in the capital Kyiv on the 7th and signed a new security agreement.

Japan has also been negotiating since October last year to prepare a bilateral document that stipulates the details of cooperation in the security field and other fields.

Prime Minister Shmyhal said, "We are proceeding with discussions toward the signing of an agreement similar to that of partner countries," and emphasized the importance of ensuring Ukraine's security until it joins NATO = North Atlantic Treaty Organization, not just military assistance at hand.
