The Israeli occupation army acknowledged – at dawn on Sunday – the killing of a reserve officer and a soldier from the engineering corps, in battles with the resistance in the southern Gaza Strip, coinciding with the entry of its aggression on Gaza on its 100th day.

"Reserve assistant Indualem Kabeda, 21, from the town of Kiryat Gat (south), was killed during fighting in the southern Gaza Strip last night," the army said in a statement.

The IDF statement added that the soldier was affiliated with the Sa'ar Mongolan Brigade.

The occupation announced yesterday the death of one of its soldiers, and the injury of two officers and another soldier seriously wounded in battles with the resistance in Gaza.

The death toll of the occupation army rises to 523 officers and soldiers in the Gaza Strip since the seventh of last October, while the Palestinian resistance says that the number of Israeli army deaths is much higher than the announced figure.

Since October 7, 2023, the Israeli army has been waging a devastating war on the Gaza Strip, which until yesterday left 23,843 martyrs, 60,317 injuries, most of them children and women, massive destruction of infrastructure, and an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe, according to the Gaza authorities and the United Nations.
