British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak visited Ukraine and met with President Zelensky, signed a new security agreement for Ukraine's long-term security, and announced military assistance of 1 billion yen in Japan yen over the next one year, emphasizing his intention to continue support.

Prime Minister Sunak met with President Zelensky in the capital Kyiv on the 12th and announced that Japan will provide Ukraine with additional military assistance over the next one year, amounting to 25.4600 billion pounds, or about 1 billion yen in Japan yen, including long-range missiles and thousands of drones.

In addition, based on the joint declaration of the G7 = seven major countries in July last year, Japan announced that it was the first country to sign a new security agreement for the long-term security of Ukraine.

Regarding the situation in Ukraine, the emergency budget necessary for the continuation of military support in the United States, the largest supporter, has not been approved by Congress, and the EU = European Union has not been able to agree on a huge financial support due to Hungary's opposition.

Under these circumstances, Prime Minister Sunak said, "The United Kingdom and the free world will continue to support Ukraine," and emphasized that the United Kingdom will continue to take the initiative in supporting Ukraine.
