Schiller noted that if America does this to Russia today, it can do it to anyone tomorrow. This raises the question for a dozen countries about holding savings in dollars.

Earlier, The New York Times wrote that the United States is already discussing the transfer of frozen Russian assets to Ukraine.

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said that the confiscation of Russian assets could lead to a rupture in relations with the United States.

The press secretary of the Russian president, Dmitry Peskov, said that Russia will never leave alone those who will initiate and implement the illegal seizure of its assets.
