• Aristrocacia The war of the Medinaceli: the Duke of Segorbe forbids his niece to marry in his palace
  • Noble fight Victoria Hohenlohe inherits the war of the Medinaceli

The Duchess of Medinaceli, Victoria of Hohenlohe-Langenburg, and the French-Argentine financier Maxime Corneille are already husband and wife.

The wedding was held at a quarter past one in the afternoon in the church of San Miguel de Jerez de la Frontera (Cádiz), which around half past twelve in the afternoon the first guests began to arrive.

The bride has chosen for her wedding a dress from the Jerez firm T.BA, by Sol Prado López de Carrizosa, a great friend of Victoria. A dress of several layers in raw tone embroidered with metallic thread and adorned with beads, without veil, with long and wonderful tail also embroidered that started from the back to the height of the waist, and French sleeves. And without a tiara, although with a brilliant brooch in the hair collection and long earrings also bright.

A simple look in appearance but well worked, without stridency and at the same time romantic and spectacular, for a bride of the nobility that gathers the largest number of noble titles in Spain, more than forty, several of them with Greatness of Spain. It was the Duchess of Alba who occupied the first place with fifty titles, but, after her death and the distribution of titles among her heirs, Victoria has risen to the top of the ladder.

Victoria of Hohenlohe arrived at the church of San Miguel aboard a horse carriage with her younger brother and godfather Alexander, Marquis of Navahermosa and Duke of Ciudad Real. She looked happy, greeted the many Jerez and curious people who had approached the surroundings of the temple so as not to lose detail. And she had the help of her friend Sol Prado for the correct placement of the tail of the dress before making her entrance into the church.

The groom arrived shortly before aboard a Rolls Royce car, accompanied by his mother and godmother, Alexia Fribarren de Corneille. He, with dark jacket, light vest and tie in blue stewardess tone. The godmother chose a successful long dress in coral tone, with several layers as ruffles in skirt and sleeves, accompanied by headdress and shoes in pale pink.

The bride's mother, Sandra Schmidt-Polex, chose a sky blue dress with headdress, and looked happy, exuding smiles.

Bride and groom and guests entered the church of San Miguel through one of its doors decorated with an arch of green plants with sautéed white flowers signed by the Jerez florist Enea, also in charge of the floral decoration of the church.

The ceremony was officiated by the Sevillian priest Ignacio Jiménez Sánchez-Dalp, who just a week ago baptized Sofia, the youngest daughter of the Dukes of Huéscar, in Seville.

The guests in the same church received bottles of water and fans, so that they could carry a little better the heat of the day, although luckily for them, the temperatures have begun to drop. The day in Jerez was perfect.

The ceremony ended with the Apostolic Blessing of Pope Francis and the interpretation of Schubert's 'Ave Maria', by the choir of white voices of the Entreolivos school, in Seville, directed by Emilia Aguilar.

Among the guests, there were the Dukes of Huéscar representing the House of Alba, with a Sofia Palazuelo wearing a spectacular dress in toffee tone with large black polka dots and pamela of the same color.

Miriam of Ungria -now Princess Miriam Al-Ghazi of Jordan-, wearing a stone-tone dress and headdress/pamela to the tone, arrived with her sons Boris and Beltran Saxe-Coburg-Gotha

Luis Medina Abascal, cousin of the bride, also arrived at the church with his girlfriend, Clara Caruana, with a midi design by Oscar de la Renta in red, headband by Mimoki and sandals by Aquazzura.

Anna Gamazo Hohenlohe, wife of Juan Abelló and aunt of the bride, also attended the wedding, wearing a printed earth-tone dress signed by Jorge Vázquez.

In addition to numerous friends and family from countries such as Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, France or Argentina, among others.

In general, the guests looked properly and elegantly, although there were some exceptions with an appearance more like walking around the house or as for a party of less importance.

And all – or almost all – the guests and protagonists stood before the numerous cameras of the media. Some even spoke to the press, such as Hermine Corneille, grandmother of the groom, who said she was "very excited, because it is something very important, that my grandson is getting married." He added that everything was "perfect, very well organized and with very good people who helped us in everything, very happy with the reception we have had in Jerez".

After the ceremony, the bride and groom, radiant with happiness, and after showing their love – he kissed his wife by hand and helped her to get into the carriage and also with the dress – they got into a horse carriage. Meanwhile, the Kings of the Netherlands left the temple through another door.

From the church, like the rest of their families and guests, the bride and groom moved to the Salto al Cielo estate, where the wedding banquet took place, after three in the afternoon and served by Catering Miguel Ángel. There they had live music and even a DJ to keep the party going.

The 400 or so guests arrived at the temple after having enjoyed the previous night of the pre-wedding party, held at the Palacio de Campo Real, also in Jerez.

Here the surprise was the presence at the party of the Kings of the Netherlands, with a great Máxima Zorreguieta wearing a red dress accompanied by a manila shawl to the tone, spectacular bright earrings and hair pulled back in a low bun. With them, his daughter Princess Amalia, who opted for a black Manila shawl embroidered in colors and flower in her hair in the style of the Fair.
