This was told in the Nizhny Novgorod Museum-Reserve.

Maryam Mirsaitova went fishing with her father on the Oka River, where she found unusual objects on the shore. Photos of the finds were sent to the staff of the nature department of the Nizhny Novgorod Museum-Reserve, who went to the site of the discovered bones.

"The unusual objects turned out to be the bones of extinct animals: the remains of a woolly mammoth, the cervical vertebra of a primitive bison and the bone of an animal that has yet to be determined," the report said.

It is also noted that the bones were in sediments that moved from the top of the slope due to a landslide and were washed away by the river.

Earlier it was reported that the remains of two dinosaurs about 130 million years old were found in northern China.
