This is stated in the publication of the newspaper Bild am Sonntag, reports TASS.

The publication stressed that even if the shells are sent to the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the near future, the problem will be a long period of military training. Markus Faber, an expert in the field of defense of the Free Democratic Party, which is part of the ruling coalition in Germany, recalled that Kyiv began asking for Taurus supplies more than four months ago.

"This time could be used for the successful completion of training," he said.

Earlier it was reported that German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock did not answer the question of when Berlin would decide on the supply of Taurus cruise missiles to Ukraine.
