On the night of August 10, attempts by the Ukrainian military to carry out terrorist attacks with drones on the territory of three regions of Russia were thwarted, according to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

"Tonight, over the territory of the Kaluga and Moscow regions, as well as the city of Sevastopol, attempts by the Kiev regime to carry out terrorist attacks with unmanned aerial vehicles were suppressed," the report said.

It is indicated that two drones flying in the direction of Moscow were destroyed by air defense systems in the sky over the Maloyaroslavetsky district of the Kaluga region and over the territory of the Odintsovo district of the Moscow region. At the same time, near Sevastopol, two UAVs were hit by air defense systems on duty, nine more were suppressed by electronic warfare. Failing to reach the goal, they crashed in the Black Sea.

"As a result of the suppressed terrorist attacks, there are no casualties or destruction," the Ministry of Defense stressed.

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin noted in his Telegram channel that two attack drones were shot down at about four o'clock in the morning in the Kaluga region and in the area of the Central Ring Road.

In turn, the governor of the Kaluga region, Vladislav Shapsha, pointed out that as a result of the destruction of the drone in the Maloyaroslavetsky district, there are no consequences for people and infrastructure.

At the same time, the governor of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozzhaev, stressed that the attack of the Kyiv regime using 11 UAVs was repelled by the fleet in cooperation with the air defense forces.

"All services continue to monitor the situation," he added.

On the eve of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported the destruction of two UAVs by air defense systems. As Sobyanin reported, one of them was liquidated in the Domodedovo area, the second in the area of the Minsk highway.

"The neo-Nazi Kiev regime viciously resorts to the use of terrorist methods"

Deputy Director of the Information and Press Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry Alexei Zaitsev, during a briefing on August 9, commenting on the latest attacks by the Kyiv regime using drones, noted that they have no military meaning and are exclusively terrorist in nature.

Recall that on August 4, the Armed Forces of Ukraine unsuccessfully tried to attack the port of Novorossiysk with two unmanned boats. On the night of August 5, using an unmanned sea drone, the Russian civilian ship Sig, which was in the roadstead near the Kerch Strait, was attacked. There were 11 people on the ship, no one was injured.

"By a happy coincidence, these actions did not lead to a large-scale environmental disaster in the Black Sea," Zaitsev said.

On August 6, a Ukrainian UAV was destroyed on the territory of the Podolsk district while trying to break into Moscow.

"Unable to demonstrate to its Western masters the result on the battlefield, the neo-Nazi Kiev regime continues to viciously resort to the use of terrorist methods against the inhabitants of Russia, striking at civilian targets, including far from the front line," Zaitsev said. "All crimes committed by servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ukrainian nationalists and representatives of the Kyiv regime are carefully recorded by Russian law enforcement agencies. Ukrainian criminals will face inevitable punishment."

At the same time, last week, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova stated during a briefing on August 2 that the United States and EU countries did not express "a word of condemnation" in connection with the terrorist methods of the Kyiv regime aimed at destroying civilian objects and intimidating the civilian population of the Russian Federation.

"We also know that Western countries not only verbally encourage the terrorist methods of the Kiev regime, but also directly participate in the organization of terrorist attacks, supplying weapons and transmitting the necessary intelligence," she explained.
