"Last night, in the Orekhovsky direction, in the Rabotino area, the enemy tried to attack the positions of our units with an assault group. The enemy was walking without equipment, like cannon fodder," he wrote on Telegram.
According to him, at the same time, Russian air intelligence revealed three assault groups of the Armed Forces of Ukraine west of Orekhov.
"All groups were destroyed, the remaining soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine withdrew in a northerly direction," Balitsky said.
Earlier, Balitsky said that Russian forces destroyed three assault brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the region with artillery.
