The party executive has decided to take up the issue after internal demands from, among others, Green Youth and the party's student union.

The vote on whether the MP should have one or two spokespersons will only be advisory and will take place in September. Only delegates to the party congress this autumn will be allowed to vote, according to the radio.

Per Bolund has announced that he will not seek re-election at the party congress in November. Märta Stenevi, on the other hand, said yesterday that she would like to stay.

"Then it's the congress that chooses which model we should have," she said in Morgonstudion.

"I hope that those who want to keep two spokespersons win.
