Anticipated trial proceedings

As for his impeachment proceedings, now that Trump's indictment is issued, the U.S. Secret Service is expected to meet Friday with the former president's staff and Secret Service officers.

Ahead of Tuesday's hearing, the Secret Service will assess any potential threats to federal court in and around Miami and work out a security plan with court officers.

It is unlikely, according to legal experts, that Trump will be handcuffed or photographed, but his fingerprints will be taken.

After completing his detention papers, he will be considered under arrest and detention, and after processing the papers, his trial begins with a hearing of the charges against him.
