Xiamen, June 6 (Zhongxin Net) -- The cross-strait industry standard common service platform was launched in Xiamen on the 8th and settled in the Taiwan Business Development Service Center in the Xiamen Free Trade Area.

The platform is guided by the State Administration for Market Regulation (Standards Commission), jointly led by the Xiamen Municipal Market Supervision Bureau and the Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao Office of the Xiamen Municipal Party Committee, and jointly led by relevant departments, relying on the Taiwan Standardization (Xiamen) Research Center to build a "one-stop" standardization comprehensive service platform.

Ji Erming, second-level inspector of the Standards Innovation Management Department of the State Administration for Market Regulation, said that this is a concrete embodiment of the deepening of cross-strait integration and development, marking a solid step in the work of cross-strait standards commonality.

Due to the differences in standards between the two sides of the strait, it has brought a lot of trouble to cross-strait economic and trade exchanges and market supervision. The cross-strait industry standard common service platform provides cross-strait industry-university-research institutions and enterprises, especially small, medium and micro enterprises and entrepreneurs in Taiwan, with functional services covering industry standard information, standard big data query, standard technical consultation, standard comparison, standard research and other functional services, which can effectively solve the problem that it is difficult for Taiwan compatriots and Taiwan enterprises to "land" due to differences in relevant policies, regulations and standards between the two sides.

In recent years, Xiamen has continuously innovated and practiced around the "cross-strait industry standards", focusing on many key areas such as food cold chain logistics, barrier-free facilities, elderly care services, English translation, terminology comparison, food safety, etc., and joined hands with Taiwan companies and Taiwan enterprises to jointly participate in the revision of standards or absorb and learn from the advanced technical content of similar standards in Taiwan, forming 109 common standards at all levels, involving agriculture, industry, service industry and social undertakings.

Up to now, the cross-strait industry standard common service platform has collected more than 25,<> copies of cross-strait standard information, and released information on key areas in cross-strait trade exchanges, relevant policies and measures for important products, standardization trends, market access and other information.

Relevant people said that Taiwan enterprises and Taiwan compatriots who want to come to the mainland for development can log on to the platform and inquire about cross-strait standard information in one stop; At the same time, the platform has standardization experts specializing in cross-strait standards consulting services, providing standardized technical solutions for customs clearance and market supervision problems caused by differences in standards when Taiwanese enterprises' products and services enter the mainland market.

On the same day, the Xiamen Free Trade Area Taiwan Business Development Service Center was inaugurated. The center focuses on the characteristics of rich Taiwan-related elements and personalized solutions for Taiwan, and provides all-round and characteristic services for Taiwan compatriots and Taiwan enterprises in Xiamen.
