Blind Indonesian teenager Putri Aryani drew attention to her voice during auditions on the popular competition show America's Got Talent, and was widely praised by the public and jury members.

The 17-year-old blind girl qualified after she presented two songs, the first is "Sorry Seems to Be the Hardest Word" by singer Alton John while playing the piano, then the famous media and jury member in the program, Simon Cowell, asked her to present an additional song and described her singing as outstanding, interacting with her away from the extreme seriousness that he used to in previous episodes, and described her as the best singer in that program.

Jury member Howell Mandel described the Indonesian girl as a star and an angel who landed on stage, amid great emotion from the audience who celebrated her great talent, and it was clear from the tears that they were affected by her sense of singing and her voice, and this culminated in granting her the "Golden Baz", which transports the participant directly to participate in the live performances of the program.

On her Instagram account, Ariani thanked Simon Cowell, who made her dream come true, and described her participation in the program as the most wonderful moment of her life.

Grammy Award

The Indonesian girl told the judges before presenting her song that she dreams of having a distinguished singing career, and to receive a Grammy Award like the late artist Whitney Houston.

Song Wakim, the U.S. ambassador to the Republic of Indonesia, praised the contestant, tweeting: "Congratulations to Putri Aryani for her great performance in the United States, you are an incredible talent."

A large number of the audience interacted with Pottery Ariani's talent through social media platforms, one follower wrote that he was proud of what she had achieved, while a second follower thanked her and praised her appearance and described it as a perfect fit for her unique and beautiful voice, and said that her voice made him feel very emotional and remember his father, and a third follower said that her voice gave him chills from its magnificence, and one of them described her voice as brilliant.

Who is Pottery Ariani?

Putri Aryani, born on December 31, 2005, is an Indonesian singer, songwriter and musician with a visual impairment, as she was born after 6 months and 18 days of pregnancy, so she stayed in the incubator for children for 3 months in the hospital to discover her family that she had cataracts, and her father took her to Singapore for treatment and underwent surgery, but to no avail, but this did not stand in the way of her talent and love for singing, playing and writing, as the audience knew her after winning the Indonesian version of the global program. Got Talent in 2014 in its second season when she was just 8 years old.

In 2018, Ariani was selected to perform the "Song of Victory" at the opening ceremony of the Asian Games for Paralympics held in Indonesia.
