This was stated by economist Recep Erchin.

"Given the rise in prices caused by inflation in Turkey, and the additional price increase that will be observed due to the rise in prices for foreign currency, Turkey will become a little more expensive for Russian tourists," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.

Erçin expressed the opinion that Turkey is becoming a "cheap resort village" for tourists with foreign currency.

Earlier, a study conducted by AlfaStrakhovanie showed that this summer Russians are planning a vacation in Turkey, Egypt, as well as in the resorts of Russia.

According to Artur Muradyan, general director of the tour operator Space Travel, a week-long vacation for two people in the summer in Turkey will cost Russians an average of 150-200 thousand rubles.
