• Events A Mossos union urges Interior to evict a rave that began on Saturday in a reservoir and in which five policemen were attacked

It was almost a spree to the end. The Mossos d'Esquadra have evicted the hundred people who were still celebrating an illegal party in a reservoir of Ivars de Noguera (Lleida) since last Saturday. The operation, which had no incidents, ended with the identification of the organizers of the rave, seven administrative acts for possession of prohibited substances and 20 drivers reported for circulating under the influence of some drug.

The party registered clashes early Sunday morning. Five Mossos agents were injured when a truck trying to access the rave rammed two police cars that were at a checkpoint to prevent it. The agents arrested the two occupants of the vehicle but, at that moment, people from the cars that followed the truck confronted the agents and helped one of them to flee.

The Mossos indicate that since Friday patrols and controls were mounted in the presence of numerous heavy vehicles, such as trucks and motorhomes, in the Àger area, which suggested that an illegal party was going to be mounted. Early Sunday morning, the rave was located in a forest near the Santa Anna swamp, so agents prevented access.

It was in this control when a truck rammed the agents, who had to move away so as not to be run over and the incident was recorded in which one of the suspects who were in the vehicle was able to escape. Five officers were slightly injured. The controls continued and all those who left were identified in addition to doing alcohol and drug tests.

Thus, there are 20 complaints for drugs, one for alcohol, one for expired ITV and another for lack of insurance. This Wednesday the party was evicted and 70 people were identified, among which were the organizers who were denounced. The suspect who was able to flee on Sunday after ramming police cars was also arrested. In addition, 7 administrative records were drawn up for drug possession and sound equipment was intervened.
