"The Federation Council declares that the Kiev regime and the states of the collective West covering up its crimes bear full responsibility for the terrorist act at the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station," RIA Novosti quoted the statement as saying.
It is noted that this is not the first time that the UN Secretariat has avoided discussing Kiev's crimes.
The Federation Council regarded this action of the Kiev regime as a gross violation of international law.

Russian President Vladimir Putin called the destruction of the dam of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant a barbaric action by Kiev, which was carried out at the suggestion of curators from Western states.
