"Human violence", "acts of looting" (...) and "cyber-attacks against strategic government sites"... President Macky Sall denounced during the Council of Ministers facts "of an incommensurate gravity". According to him, the objective was to "sow terror" and "bring the country to a standstill".

The head of state asks the government "to open immediate and systematic judicial investigations to shed light on the responsibilities related to these events".

Macky Sall also reiterates his "openness to consultation (...) in respect of the rule of law", following the launch of the national dialogue on 31 May. An initiative rejected by Ousmane Sonko. Khalifa Sall and Karim Wade's PDS participate. The conclusions of these exchanges are expected "before June 25," according to the statement.
