The CEO of municipal Älvstranden utveckling AB Lena Andersson was fired in connection with a board meeting last week. It had been preceded by an investigation by Expressen where the newspaper revealed that she had not reported suspected bribes to the police when she became aware of them in connection with a KPMG report in 2020. The company itself has commented on the tours on its website.

In connection with the board meeting, a press conference was held where other media were welcome but not Expressen's team. It was after Expressen's journalists had been there that the company reported it to the police.

"The staff felt scared, so in that sense there was a basis behind the report," the company's acting CEO Per-Henrik Hartmann told GP.
