• Interior Policy denies the registration of Macarena Olona's party, Caminando Juntos, due to errors of form

On the run, in extremis and on the horn, but in time, waiting for the form. Macarena Olona has presented this Wednesday in the National Registry of Associations the documentation required to correct the errors that prevent today its formation, Walking Together, achieve the approval of the Ministry of the Interior to attend the general elections next July.

From there, and after delivering the corresponding reports, the State lawyer and former leader of Vox has publicly asked to "identify with name and surname" the official "responsible for the registration resolution" of his political party to "protect him from political pressures" and thus guarantee the correct processing of his application for registration, after denouncing the "obstacles" existing by the Interior procedure for a party that is presented "from scratch", as is Walking Together.

The request for identification comes after the State lawyer denounced that other parties, such as Sumar, obtained the green light from Interior just 24 hours after their registration with the ministry. In addition, it asserts that the statutes that have been denied are identical to those of another formation that does have the approval to participate in the elections.

Olona's war against Interior is not the only obstacle that the State lawyer should overcome to ensure the presence of Caminando Juntos in the general elections. Once the administrative procedure has been completed, it should collect 21,700 signatures before June 16, corresponding to 0.1% of the census corresponding to the ten provinces for which it expects to apply: Madrid, Barcelona, Seville, Murcia, Alicante, Malaga, Cádiz, Las Palmas and Granada.
