Zeng Zhifu, director of the Taiwan Affairs Office of the People's Government of Hunan Province, said that Taiwan compatriots and Taiwan artists are welcome to come to Hunan to explore the seclusion, find artistic inspiration and creative passion, and work with Hunan artists to deepen the cultural and artistic exchanges and cooperation between Hunan and Taiwan. It is hoped that artists on both sides of the strait will use art to reflect, observe and lead the times, and tell well the story of the same root and origin between the two sides of the strait, the story of integration and development, and the story of common destiny.

Li Tianming, the person in charge of the Dots Art Museum, said that Chinese culture has solid roots and mellow accumulation, which is the root and soul of the Chinese nation, and the exchange activity is named after "seeking common ground and preserving art", and its purpose and significance is to build a bridge between hearts and minds between the two sides of the strait with art, and call on artists on both sides of the strait to jointly undertake the mission of cultural people, educating people with culture, and cultivating yuan with culture.

Each artist is full of individuality, only to jointly seek the "beauty" of Chinese culture and art, hoping that the two sides of the strait can continue to communicate, and also warmly invite Hunan artists to have the opportunity to come to Taiwan for creative exhibitions.

At the launching ceremony, the opening ceremony of "Seeking Common Ground and Preserving Art - Cross-Strait Artists Painting Exhibition" was also held, with a total of more than 100 paintings by artists from both sides of the strait, and artists from both sides of the strait praised the long history of Chinese culture through artistic brushstrokes and warm emotional enthusiasm. This exhibition will create an online exhibition hall, so that more people on both sides of the strait, especially Taiwan compatriots, can view the exhibition.
