The President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, has proposed today to hold face-to-face debates with Alberto Núñez Feijóo every Monday until the general elections are held on July 23, starting next Monday, June 12.

Sánchez has assured that he wants them to be the elections of the democratic debates and has indicated that there are 7 weeks until the general elections. "There is plenty of time for citizens to form an opinion of what each one proposes," he exclaimed.

He also explained that he has received four offers from four media to carry out these debates, noting that he accepts them all and opens up to the rest of the media. It proposes that the debates be made in programs of greater audience or creating a special space for that debate.

On the rules to carry it out, he proposes that moderation be neutral, there is a balance of times and rules of respect.
