At least one man has been injured and another has been arrested in a protest by Salamanca farmers against the sanitation of bovine tuberculosis that prevents cattle from leaving the community of Castilla y León, which has resulted in clashes.

The resolution of May 10, 2023, of the General Directorate of Agricultural and Livestock Production of the Junta de Castilla y León developed certain aspects of the national programs of ruminant diseases that in the opinion of the Ministry contravene state and community regulations.
