Applications for membership and demonstrations of support have not stopped since the climate collective "Last Generation" in Germany was raided.

"The more repression there is against us, the more people realise that the government is not taking the climate seriously," said Simon Schwan, a member of Last Generation.

The activists, who have multiplied street blockades in recent weeks, are in the sights of justice. Dozens of them have already received prison sentences. And all tendencies combined, the political class supports police action.

This does not prevent "Last Generation" from continuing its actions, especially since 500,000 euros were paid into the pot created urgently by the collective. A national day of action is planned for Monday, June 5.
