"It has been preliminarily established that the attackers acted on the instructions of foreign employers. Following the instructions they received, they purchased GSM gateways and activated SIM cards from mobile operators. This made it possible to change the phone number of the swindler who called from abroad to the Russian one and at the same time maintain anonymity, "the website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs-Media says.

Searches were carried out in four apartments in Moscow, Dmitrov and Krasnogorsk.

More than ten thousand SIM cards of various mobile operators, GSM gateways, modems, computer equipment and other equipment were seized.

Earlier, Stanislav Kuznetsov, deputy chairman of the board of Sberbank, said that every fifth fraudulent call center in Ukraine is coordinated from the Netherlands and Germany.
