Robert G., the child who was electrocuted with his mother while cleaning a private pool in a house in Torrefarrera on May 28 has died as a result of the serious injuries he suffered. His mother, Denise Alina C., 40, died instantly while the child was transferred unconscious to the Sant Joan de Déu hospital in Barcelona. There he remained hospitalized until his death.
After hearing the sad news, the City Council of Torrefarrera ordered two days of official mourning, so public events are suspended, flags will fly at half mast and the Consistory transfers its condolences to the family of the victims. "We are appalled by these two losses. If the death of a young person is already a tragedy, the loss of a child is terrible. And all together with a family, it is a great misfortune. The event took place on May 28 at noon while the victim, accompanied by his minor son, cleaned the pool with power tools, although it was not completely empty and the terrible accident occurred. The Mossos d'Esquadra opened an investigation to know the causes of the incident.
