After the regional and municipal elections of May 28, many candidates are opened the second level with the government pacts. Isabel Díaz Ayuso will not have problems in the Community of Madrid with her large absolute majority, but she will have to face as president of the party in the region the situation experienced by a dozen municipalities that seek to dye themselves popular blue in the middle of the general campaign. Some alone. Others with coalitions where Vox appears as the main option. And more after the refusal of the PSOE to facilitate investitures.

A part of Ayuso's team closes ranks and affirms that the strategy to be followed is being "evaluated internally". Another, confirmed by up to three sources of the PP, points out that the candidates have "the freedom" to agree those municipal governments with formations that "share ideas". Among them would be mainly Vox, but also Ciudadanos and regional parties. "We have an obligation to achieve change where we can and talk to everyone," say sources at the top of the party.

In fact, in some Madrid municipalities even with the formation of a government in the air, this rapprochement has already occurred. The clearest is that of Arganda del Rey, where the PP candidate, Alberto Escribano, has already maintained contacts with representatives of Vox. Sources consulted by EL MUNDO even indicate that the entry of positions of the radical right formation in a future Executive is being prepared, not necessarily as area councilors. Because, although the popular were the most voted force, they see "positive" the agreement to facilitate the governability of that Executive during the next four years of mandate.

Escribano could be mayor alone in the second round to be the most voted list, tied to eleven councilors with the PSOE, but would require the votes of Vox to carry out projects such as the Budgets or the modification of ordinances. Because the investiture can be done by simple majority, but government action requires a qualified one.

The same situation occurs in Móstoles, where the PP won the elections with 37.37% of the votes, which gave it 12 councilors, the same as the set of forces of the left. Manuel Bautista could also be mayor by simple majority, but he would be conditioned as his companion of Arganda. In the case of this municipality in the south of the Community, contacts between formations have not yet taken place, but they will do so 'soon'. "We do not give up talking to anyone and, of course, Vox is one of the options," party sources indicate. In fact, the only one, because the forces of the left refuse these pacts.

On the exit ramp are also the negotiations in Alcalá de Henares, where the PP was the second most voted party, remaining 1.6 points below the PSOE. However, the sum of the popular with Vox would dye blue the City Council of the Complutense city. "Shortly" contacts will begin, confirm to this newspaper from the environment of the candidate Judith Piquet, called to lead those conversations, where they place Vox in the first place for negotiations.

With negotiations ahead, the PP still has in Pinto, Aranjuez and San Sebastián de los Reyes. In the case of the latter, the simple majority is almost assured for the popular with its 11 councilors because only the union of the rest of the forces, excluding Vox, could overthrow it. But the votes of the radical right formation gain importance after amending the political direction of the PSOE-M to the current mayor, Narciso Romero, who had offered to abstain in the investiture of Lucía Fernández and support her Budgets in the first year to avoid the influence of Vox.

In Pinto, the PP also depends on the party located to its right of Pinto advances, a local split of the popular themselves. In Galapagar, Alcobendas and Colmenar Viejo, the formation touched the absolute majority, but remained a few votes that could make it depend on Vox. And, finally, there is the case of Leganés, where governability depends on the formation of the radical right and the local ULEG, which are reluctant to agree with that party.
